Ted Waldron Rejoins D3G to Lead the AEC Team
D3G is pleased to welcome back Ted Waldron! Ted will be leading our AEC Team as Director of AEC Services. Ted will be responsible for overseeing team projects, client contact, and technical review. This addition brings together Ted’s leadership and the AEC team’s extensive expertise to provide strategic growth opportunities for the department. Ted has completed hundreds of building construction reports for properties located across the country, utilizing ASTM, Freddie Mac, and HUD MAP reporting protocols.
Ted is a registered Architect with nearly 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, eleven of those years (2004-2014) with D3G. Ted’s experience includes feasibility studies, municipal planning and permit processing, variances and specialty permit procedures, design and construction document preparation, project management with contractors, architects, and engineers, construction monitoring and closeout procedures. Ted’s working concentration over the last 18 years is primarily based in the HUD program assisting numerous owners, developers, architects, and contractors with the coordination of their programs and the processing requirements.

Accompanying Ted in this transition is Karen Hurst. As AEC Administrator, Karen will coordinate internal and client documentation supporting D3G architectural code and cost due diligence review projects to ensure documentation meets technical and schedule goals. With over 15 years in the customer service industry, Karen understands that prioritizing clients’ needs is a key factor to any successful business.
They will join a dedicated team of project managers, code reviewers, and cost analysts. D3G has been a leader in the HUD AEC review space since HUD relinquished review authority to third parties. D3G has completed thousands of AEC reviews and has a high success rate with HUD approval. With all-core services in house, D3G is equipped to streamline and support additional due diligence needs for our clients.
