Phase I ESA

Investigations identify recognized environmental conditions (RECs) as defined by ASTM E 1527-13. 

Components of an ESA include:
  • Identification of current and historical land usage
  • Comprehensive reconnaissance
  • Review of local, state, and federal regulatory records
  • Interviews with personnel familiar with site history
  • Preliminary field screening for hazardous substances and petroleum products.

Phase II ESA

Investigations confirm the presence or absence of hazardous materials, the extent of contamination, the liability associated with contamination, and provide a basis for remediation design. 

Common Phase II activites include:
  • Soil and Groundwater Investigations
  • Vapor Intrusion/Vapor Encroachment Assessments 
  • Petroleum Storage Tank Testing

Asbestos, Lead Based Paint and Radon Testing.

D3G Provides various levels of materials testing from preliminary screenings to extensive rehabilitation testing.  We are experts in identifying, managing or mitigating the presence of asbestos, lead based paint or radon.

  • Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Inspections and risk assessments
  • Radon gas sampling/analysis

National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Compliance

D3G's experience with 24 CFR Part 50-58 and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on thousands of federally supported projects guarantees solutions to even the most complex problems.
