How
D3G helps

Across the country, there is a shortage of affordable housing in every state. Critical housing needs permeate every community. In response, the demand for affordable housing is stronger than ever and much of the existing stock calls for significant revitalization.

D3G helps to bridge this gap by providing architectural and construction cost conclusions essential for the new construction and substantial rehabilitation of multifamily housing and healthcare facilities. Our experience has helped transform us into an industry leader, providing third party A/E Reviews and building our reputation as a trusted advocate for affordable housing.

“Daily Planet Health Services' programs provide a clean and safe environment, healthy meals, and integrated care so that residents can focus on their well-being. By participating in our ‘Stock the Pantry Shelves’ food drive, D3G is helping to connect the dots for those in need in our community. We are so thankful for this partnership!”

Daily Planet Health & Services ( Homelessness & Shelter )

“Huge thanks to the D3G for bringing smiles to so many faces at our Child Advocacy Centers. The art canvases your employees made are now displayed in the main children’s playroom in our Henrico CAC and makes the space feel welcoming and full of love. We really appreciate the generosity and time that D3G provided for these families."

Greater Richmond SCAN ( Stop Child Abuse Now )

“I’m really glad that D3G provides volunteer opportunities. I’m often busy and have trouble finding meaningful ways to contribute to the community. A couple Saturdays spent picking up trash along the river or clearing old grave sites in historic Evergreen Cemetery has been fun and uplifting. You quickly see that every bit of help makes a difference."

Our
difference

Why D3G

After 27 years in the business, not only are we familiar with the industry, we helped build it. We have reviewed over 1,200 projects in the last decade, working side by side with a variety of organizations— Lenders, Architects, General Contractors, and Tax Credit Agencies.

Experience

We are familiar with working on a wide range of projects.  On a regular basis, our team is reviewing plans for a typical garden-style, walk-up multi-family property, a skilled nursing facility, or a complex conversion of a historic industrial building. D3G pioneered the first Plan and Cost Review for a HUD-insured modular construction project.

Our People

Our team of code reviewers, cost estimators, project managers, and construction analysts come from a diverse professional background. They include building and code professionals (ICC Certified), cost estimators (ASPE Certified), construction managers, licensed contractors, military veterans, and in-house construction counsel. These are the hard workers behind each success story.

Dedicated Project Team

From our elite pool of employees, we form a review team consisting of a project manager, code reviewer, cost reviewer and support staff. Each project is assigned its own team to ensure that every property is given the ample time and attention it deserves.

Creative Solutions

D3G and the AEC department are constantly evolving, improving our process, and finding creative solutions to common issues that slow down construction projects.
